Description
Bibi Graetz is considered as one of Italy’s most ingenious winemakers having broken onto the Tuscan wine scene with his first release back in 2000. His Testamatta 2018 recently earned itself 100 Points from Decanter Magazine. A former artist, Bibi is now known as a cult winemaker as he is currently rated in the top 12 collectable Tuscan producers. The wines have gone from strength to strength over the past decade, especially with the introduction of organic practices as well as favouring indigenous varietals over Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The wine has a rich fruit and berry flavor, supplemented with nuances of vanilla, chocolate and coffee. A soft, rounded taste with a predominance of halftones of dark berries, nuances of vanilla, chocolate and sweetish accents of blackberries. A long, elegant aftertaste with a tannic plume.
