Description
Located in Côte-d’Or to the south of Dijon, Meursault is a Burgundian village in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, famous for its great white wines and its supple and elegant red wines.
Family estate since 1835. Adèle, Elsa and their parents Pascale and Thierry work together, remaining the guarantors of the quality of the cultivation of the vines, the vinification, the aging of the wines and their marketing.
Aligoté is Burgundy’s “other” white grape, more rarely encountered than Chardonnay; yielding light, citrusy wines. It is also the traditional base ingredient for the Kir cocktail.
With lean, minerally flavors and palate-cleansing acidity, Aligoté does wonderfully alongside fish dishes and soupe, salads, and gooey cow’s milk cheeses.
