The name of this wine comes from the Latin word ‘majuelo’, a term used to refer to vineyards. Emilio Moro Malleolus is a single variety of Tinta Fina.
The grapes used for making Malleolus comes from the Camino Viejo vineyard. A vineyard planted in 1989, at an altitude of 890 metres above sea level, on a hillside with a steep slope. The soils are clay with some areas of limestone concentration especially in the higher parts of the estate.
A wine that perfectly combines strength and freshness, elegant with intense aromas of black fruits and smoked that when passing through the mouth leaves sweet notes, power and balance at the same time that a pleasant memory.
