Clean, youthful, pronounced intensity nose of cranberry, red currant, strawberry, forest floor and mushroom. Dry, medium body, medium alcohol, high zippy acidity and fine light tannins. Medium+ intensity flavors of cranberry, forest floor and mushroom on the palate leading to a long silky finish.
dFrom two hillside parcels with a same terroir. Planted on shallow soil over granite bedrock, and located in the highest parts of Fleurie (over 400 m altitude). Sustainably farmed, with south and south-east exposure. Vines from 50 to over 100 years old. Vinification in concrete tanks and ageing in oak barrels for 5 months.
