Description
The distinctive and age-worthy claret-like Katnook Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from prime terra rossa vineyards, established around 1970. After classic vinification the wine is matured in new and seasoned French and American oak for 15 to 18 months. Intense blackcurrant and mulberry aromas, generous pure fruit flavours, fine-grained but vigorous tannins, and underlying mocha notes are typical of the style. One of the top vintages.
Ruth says ” mixed soft red berry fruit, cassis, tobacco, nougat and mint.”
