Tasting Note
Vibrant ruby red with crimson and magenta hues. Aromas of dark plums, blueberries and chocolate supported by spicy mocha, liquorice, vanilla and pepper with hints of boysenberry and strawberry. A voluptuous wine with soft, round flourishes of dark fruit. The aromas are mirrored by the flavours on the palate with dark chocolate undertones and soft, silky tannins.
Heritage
Named after former South Australian governor Lieutenant Colonel Sir Henry Lionel Galway – a keen wine man who wasn’t afraid to speak his mind – Yalumba Galway Vintage has always exceeded the expectations of even the most demanding red wine drinker.
