Owned by La Rioja Alta, this is one of my favourite Ribera del Duero Estates.

Under the watchful eye of head winemaker Alejandro Lopéz, the wine is aged for 16 months in French oak, giving it a spicy complexity. Earning 90 points from Decanter, this is proof that La Rioja Alta’s brilliance isn’t limited to just Rioja. Discover flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry jam and forest floor, with notes of mocha, black pepper, liquorice and cloves. Enjoy it with rich red meats, like slow-cooked lamb, or cellar for another decade.
