Crafted by the pioneering Babich family, who have been making fine New Zealand wine since 1916, this 2024 vintage is an absolute benchmark of the classic, vibrant Marlborough style. Sourced from estate vineyards across the Wairau and Awatere Valleys, it undergoes stainless steel fermentation to completely protect its explosive freshness.
It pours a brilliant pale straw colour with youthful green hues, leaping from the glass with a pungent, expressive nose of passionfruit, ripe blackcurrant leaf, sweet sweet pea, and crushed lime zest. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, remarkably juicy, and crisp. A bright, mouth-watering vein of classic kiwi acidity perfectly balances a generous core of tropical fruit, leading into a clean, dry, and mineral-driven finish highlighted by lingering notes of fresh herbs and pink grapefruit
