Barón de Ley Reserva 2022 is a rich yet approachable expression of Rioja, combining ripe fruit character with the complexity that comes from extended oak and bottle ageing. Made predominantly from Tempranillo, with Graciano and Maturana, the wine comes from vineyards in Rioja Oriental, particularly around Mendavia and Ausejo.

Bright ruby red in colour. The nose is expressive and inviting, with plentiful aromas of ripe red berries and compote, complemented by sweet spices and subtle balsamic notes. On the palate, it is generous and smooth, with supple texture, balanced fruit and a creamy, lingering finish. Hints of red berries and wild herbs return on the finish.

The wine is aged for a minimum of 20 months in American oak, followed by further bottle ageing, allowing the fruit, oak and mature Rioja character to come together harmoniously. 14% ABV
