Nose — Rich aromas of dark fruits and stewed plums, complemented by sweet vanilla, warm baking spices and hints of oak.
Palate — Full of layered, dessert-like flavours. Ginger-nut biscuits and Black Forest gateau lead, with notes of dark chocolate, ripe berries, sweet malt and gentle oak spice. The bourbon, Port and Pedro Ximénez sherry cask maturation adds depth and fruit richness.
Finish — Smooth and warming, with lingering butterscotch, delicate orange blossom and evolving fruity spices.
