100% Baco Noir (An iconic French-American hybrid grape variety with thick, deep blue-black skins).

This 2020 vintage is an exceptionally bold, deeply colored, and smooth expression. Fermented entirely in stainless steel before being aged for 6 to 8 months in North American oak barrels, it perfectly tames the grape's wild, rustic personality.

It pours an opaque, glass-coating ruby-purple colour. The expressive nose opens with a pungent, jammy bouquet of sweet wild blackberries, dark currants, and ripe blueberries, intricately layered with sweet cinnamon, sandalwood, and a touch of savory dried oregano. On the palate, it is medium-to-full-bodied, rich, and remarkably plush. A concentrated core of dark bramble fruits is supported by a mouth-watering vein of cool-climate acidity and soft, supple tannins, resolving into a long, warming finish heavily accented by cedar smoke, toasty oak, and cracked black pepper.
