Produced by Domaine Charles Audoin, one of the benchmark estates of Marsannay in the Côte de Nuits, the Cuvée Marie is named in honour of Cyril Audoin's grandmother and is crafted from a selection of the domaine's oldest and finest Pinot Noir parcels. The estate, now in its fifth generation, farms sustainably with organic practices and bottles its wines unfined and unfiltered to preserve purity and terroir expression. Aged predominantly in French oak with minimal new wood.
An elegant and expressive Pinot Noir with aromas of ripe red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, layered with subtle violet, forest floor and gentle spice. The palate is silky yet structured, offering vibrant acidity, fine tannins and a mineral-driven core that leads to a long, refined finish. A superb pairing for duck, coq au vin, roast pork and mushroom dishes.
