Bright ruby red with aromas of black cherry, ripe plum, blueberry and violet, complemented by subtle hints of spice and walnut husk. The palate is fresh and medium-bodied, offering vibrant dark fruit flavours, fine-grained tannins and lively acidity that provide excellent balance and drinkability. The finish is persistent, with notes of sour cherry and plum lingering alongside a touch of savoury minerality. An elegant, unoaked Montepulciano that pairs beautifully with grilled meats, pasta with rich tomato sauces and aged cheeses.
