92% Zinfandel, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petite Sirah

An incredibly expressive, value-driven California red crafted under Baron Ziegler named after the French word for "little peacock". To lock in structural agility, the Zinfandel and Petite Sirah components are co-fermented with whole berries left completely intact in closed-top tanks, while the Cabernet Sauvignon portion is fermented in barrels before the final blend is aged for 14 months in neutral French oak.

It pours a rich, deep ruby color with purple highlights. The inviting nose opens beautifully, showing off an attractive bouquet of ripe plums, dark berries, and black currants, layered with secondary hints of coffee beans, charred bark, graphite, and warm cocoa. On the palate, it is medium-to-full-bodied, mellow, and succulent. The Zinfandel lends a core of juicy dark fruitiness, effortlessly balanced by the backbone and complexity of Cabernet Sauvignon and a subtle, peppery kick from the Petite Sirah, all resolving into a creamy, smooth finish.
