Quinta do Vesuvio is one of the most legendary, historic estates in the Douro Valley, owned by the famed Symington family. It is celebrated for preserving the traditional method of foot-treading 100% of its hand-picked grapes in massive granite lagares built in 1827. The 2013 vintage is a majestic, collector-grade "Single Quinta" port that has reached an excellent drinking window while retaining decades of aging potential.
