An incredibly elegant, precise, and light-handed expression of Northern Rhône Syrah grown on the dramatic granite soils of the prized La Dardouille vineyard site. Hand-harvested and aged for 18 months in fine French oak barrels and demi-muids, this 2021 vintage beautifully prioritises terroir clarity over heavy oak power.
It pours a bright purple with a luminous core. The nose opens with a fragrant, youthful bouquet of dark plums, black cherries, and wild cranberries, underscored by crushed violets, dried lavender, and a prominent crack of peppery spice. On the palate, the wine is dry, medium-bodied, and beautifully energetic. Crisp, crunchy dark forest fruits are perfectly framed by fine, chalky tannins and a lively vein of acidity, resolving into a long, mineral-driven finish highlighted by a classic touch of black olive tapenade.
