It pours a brilliant, lively carmine-red with youthful rubious reflections. The expressive nose opens beautifully, showing off a complex bouquet of crunchy wild cherries, field strawberries, and ripe red plums, intricately layered with subtle secondary notes of cracked pink pepper, dried red roses, anise, and wild Mediterranean scrubby herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied, warm, and remarkably well-structured. A generous, fleshy core of dark berry fruit runs over fine, silky tannins and a lively vein of sapid acidity, leading into a long, dry, and balanced finish highlighted by a classic touch of saltiness and earthy spice
