Crafted by the historic Txomin Etxaniz estate, the undisputed pioneer and oldest registered winery in the Getaria appellation, this 2025 Txakoli is the ultimate expression of the Basque coast. Harvested by hand from steep, pergola-trained vines overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, it is fermented in stainless steel and bottled with a touch of its natural residual carbon dioxide to preserve its signature fizz.
It pours a pale greenish-yellow color, showing off a light, playful effervescence in the glass. The nose pops with a bright, energetic bouquet of green apples, juicy lemons, sea spray, and fresh white flowers. On the palate, it is ultra-crisp, light-bodied, and incredibly refreshing. The electric, mouth-watering citrus acidity cuts beautifully through a subtle, petillant spritz, leading into a bone-dry, thirst-quenching finish marked by a distinct, salty ocean minerality
