Description
Bodega del Fin del Mundo is a relatively new winery, it was founded in 1999 when the first vineyards were planted in a deserted region of virgin land in the southerly province of Neuquen. In order to cope with the very dry climate it was necessary to lay a 20km long irrigation canal to provide water supply. Once the problem of water shortage was solved it was necessary to deal with the strong winds of the area by placing extensive wind breaks around the vineyard in its infancy. In 2002 the construction of the new winery was started, it is 5,000m2 with state of the art equipment. It was here that the first commercial production was achieved in 2003 and the winery was officially launched.
Greenish yellow colour with silvery sparkles. Expressive, complex, tropical fruits, mineral and light citrus notes. In the mouth it is unctuous, balanced and has a long finish.
