Intense dark fruits, a touch of savory notes and sweet spice – this well-made Bordeaux red is drinking well and offers great value. This is an archetypal Médoc with plenty of firm flavor and a crispness that can almost be called refreshing. This 40 hectare estate, owned by Jacques Merlet, is situated in the north of the Médoc in the commune of St Christoly. We loved the wines of the Northern Medoc in this vintage and there is real value in this wine – a real puncher!
Produced from 35 year old vines and aged for 18 months in large oak barrels
