Made from over 50-year-old vines on classic terraced slopes. Aged for 6 months in French and American barrels. Dark ruby colour. Blackberry, licorice and basalmic aromas, a hint of sage. Full bodied with silky, mouth coating tannins, balanced fresh acidity an some attractive fruit. A long finish that remains fresh throughout. A bit too young still imo, could use some time to integrate more. It will develop for quite some time to come..
