Gilles Troullier began his wine journey working for the Chapoutier Family in the Southern Rhone before moving to Roussillon to manage their holdings there. At the same time he also bought some vineyards to make his own wines . 20 years old from two parcels near Trevillach on a mix of decomposed granite/sandy soils around 500 meters (1,650 feet) altitude. Whole bunch into stainless, crushed, then six days maceration. Pressed, then aged 12 months in concrete tanks.
