The grapes used to make the Pierre Gerbais ‘Grains de Celles’ Champagne come from the best plots in Celles sur Ource, a town in the Côte des Bars, from a selection of the estate’s greatest sites which are mostly planted in the same Kimmeridgian soils of marl and limestone that one finds in Chablis and Sancerre.
Pierre Gerbais ‘Grains de Celles’ Champagne is a very aromatic champagne with floral notes accompanied by aromas of citrus and white fruits with nuances typical of aging like the aroma of pastries. On the palate it is fresh, elegant and mineral.
