Description
Domaine Rijckaert has small holdings in both Jura and Macon. Under owner and winemaker Florent Rouve, the Domaine produces tangy, lemony, stony and mineral Savignin ouillé which ages well. The Chardonnays from both Jura and Macon are very fine, spending a long time on lees without stirring and are fermented and aged in older oak barrels.
Vibrant and crisp. The acidity is perfectly balanced, providing a refreshing and lively mouthfeel. Ripe apple and juicy pear flavours dominate, followed by subtle hints of tropical fruit like mango and pineapple on the mid palate.
