Description
We’re really big fans of good Godello and this is one not to be missed! If you’re unfamiliar with the grape variety, this is for someone that is looking to graduate from a Sauvignon Blanc, maybe is slightly sick of an Albarino and is looking for a white that has more character than a Pinot Grigio. I promise you it’s worth a punt!
Altos de Torona hails from Rias Baixas, the home of great Albarino, but also comes from O Rosal, a region within Rias Baixas that produces some of the best wines.
Nose: Peach and Pineapple with a slight herbaceous back drop.
Palate: Similar flavour profile to the nose – stone fruit with a tropical backdrop, clean acidity, slightly saliney and fresh minerality
Food pairing: Seafood, grilled chicken, salads and hard cheeses.
