Áster Crianza is from the Ribera del Duero region, produced by the Áster winery which belongs to one of our favourite Spanish wineries
– La Rioja Alta. This leg of their operation is every bit as good as their Rioja House.
Áster Crianza is made using only the Tinta del País (Tempranillo) and its aged for 22 months in new French oak barrels.
Full bodied red with lots of dark ripe berry fruit, spice, black pepper, Mediterranean herbs with silky tannins and well integrated acidity.
Perfect with Charcuterie, steak, hamburgers or just in a big glass all by itself!! a FIRM favourite!
