Made using grapes from vineyards in Cenicero, Rioja Alta by winemaker Cesar Fernandes. Grapes are carefully selected, after fermentation the wine spends 18 months in American oak barrels. Then aged for a minimum of 18 months in bottle before release. The wine has an opulent sweet red fruit nose. The palate is full of raspberry and cranberry flavours with sweet macadamia from the oak. A fruity modern style of Rioja with a smooth finish. Sweet red fruit, vanilla and cedar, meaty savoury finish.
