Description
Ripe plum and sugared almond. Rounded notes of vanilla develop underneath the fruit. Drying dark chocolate and Christmas spice. Juicy apricot, apples and pear. Sweet and very slightly earthy. “Cles Des Ducs” roughly translates to “The Keys of the Dukes.” This distillery has been making Armagnac brandy since 1774. Along with its VSOP age, the distillery also makes and sells VS and XO Armagnac.Distilled from grapes. The most common grapes used to do this include Colombard, Bacco, and other grape varieties commonly grown in France. This VSOP is a blend, meaning it is made of several other brandies. While the individual drinks may all have their own ageing time, on average, they were aged for about seven years. It is most likely that the ageing was done in oak barrels.
