From the famous Cote Rotie producer comes this Syrah comes from granite soils in the hills around the commune of Tupin-Semons. It is sustainably cultivated and harvested by hand. Destemming, maceration in thermoregulated stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts, maturation for 10 months in barrique barrels: all these steps contribute to the production of this intense, complex wine. The barrel élevage of some wines delivers woody, smoky notes. We also find black berries and violet – the typical aromas of this variety. This IGP Collines Rhodaniennes appellation wine is seductively supple and elegant, with a harmonious fruitiness. A lovely cuvée to be drunk while still young and fruity.
