The Benje wines are also from small plots on the volcanic slopes of Tenerife, although planted at even higher altitudes! Mainly Listan Prieto (also known as País) which is high acid, low alcohol and low colour. This wine has a lovely freshness to it with elegant red fruits and a touch of minerality. A delicious and very approachable wine from the Canary Islands!
Notes of red and black fruits, peppercorns, purple flowers, and volcanic soil – a beautiful wine to pair with grilled meats and mojo rojo.
