80% Sangiovese/ 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. 18 months in French barrels.
An elegant, medium to full bodied Tuscan red, packed full of dark berry fruit, cedar, tobacco, vanilla. firm tanning, grippy acidity, requires an hour in a decanter but after that…! Drink it with a cheese board, amazing with charcuterie, steak, roast meats.
Mazzei make phenomenal wines.
