Description
Poggio di Sotto lies in Castelnuovo dell’Abate, an area considered the best for the production of Sangiovese. This wine is a textbook example of how good Sangiovese can be.
This wine is complex, elegant and requires time to be discovered in all its aspects. Notes of raspberries and red cherry with herbs, cedar wood, raisins, ginger and mint. Full and rich but also very bright, with red and dark berry flavours combined with a juicy, harmonious acidity and silky tannins.
Aged for 40 months in 30 hl oak casks
