Description
100% Gaglioppo. Medium-pale, morello cherry red with a hint of chestnut. Spicy and smoky aromas over deeper plum skin and black cherry notes. Gaglioppo’s rusticity is evident on opening, but it softens up to reveal lovely loose tea and tomato flavours that lift the wine and give it an autumnal character, not wholly dissimilar to a young Barolo. We would suggest decanting it or sticking it away for a year or so. 14% alc. Drink now-2028.
