The bouquet opens with inviting aromas of baked dark plums, blackberry pie, and sweet spices, woven together with complex secondary notes of new leather, tilled earth, and cracked black pepper. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, soft, and exceptionally approachable. Generous layers of ripe red cherry and succulent black fruits roll over plush, well-integrated tannins, balanced by a vibrant freshness that carries into an earthy, clean-cut finish.

It pours a brilliant crimson red with deep purple highlights. The complex nose unfurls with rich blackcurrants, ripe red fruits, and violets, balanced by sophisticated touches of mild tobacco leaf, cedarwood, and graphite. On the palate, it is medium-to-full-bodied and immediately shows its class. The attack is remarkably smooth and plush, wrapping layers of crunchy dark fruits and chocolate around rounded, melting tannins before shifting into a long, fresh, and slightly minty finish
